AOC To Feature Display Tune® (Branded Smart OSD) and Pivot® Pro on LCD and New CRT Models

Portrait Displays Inc., a global leader in visual enhancement software for displays, today extended its Display Tune® on-screen-display (OSD) enhancement software (branded as Smart OSD) and Pivot® Pro software technologies with AOC. The new models include the world’s first CRT utilizing AOC’s Smart OSD software and LCDs with both Smart OSD and Pivot Pro.

Based on Portrait Displays’ Display Tune OSD-enhancement technology, Smart OSD software will be included with the new AOC 995P CRT model and 195F and 199P+ LCD models. Smart OSD allows end users to adjust their display settings, such as brightness, contrast, and image positioning, on the fly with an easy-to-use software interface. By eliminating cumbersome hardware OSD buttons, this versatile software control expands the scope of display tuning and allows customization with individual user profiles.

In addition to OSD enhancement, AOC will also be bundling Portrait Displays’ proprietary Pivot Pro software with the 177P+, 197P+, and 199P+ LCD models. Pivot Pro, the industry standard for on-the-fly display rotation to landscape or portrait view, has the most comprehensive support for native graphics card and operating system compatibility. Pivot Pro provides flexibility to type e-mail, surf the web, and run any applications in either portrait or landscape view for productivity enhancement.
