BenQ Introduces New Models Bundled With Portrait Displays’ Pivot® Pro and Display Tune® Software

Portrait Displays Inc., the global leader in visual enhancement software for displays, today announced the addition of Pivot® Pro software to BenQ’s award-winning LCD display lineup including the following new models: FP241W and FP91R.

Portrait Displays’ proprietary Pivot Pro software, the industry standard for on-the-fly display rotation to landscape or portrait view, has the most comprehensive support for native graphics card and operating system compatibility. Pivot Pro provides flexibility to type e-mail, surf the web, and run any applications in either portrait or landscape view for productivity enhancement.

BenQ has also included Portrait Displays’ Display Tune® software engine, rebranded as Visual Optimizer in the FP94G model. Visual Optimizer is a paradigm change in the feature and functionality of the computer display. No longer are users bound to archaic and “unnatural” mechanical OSD button inputs to set up and tune the display.

Natural and intuitive mouse and keyboard inputs are all that is required for display optimization. Never before has the user had this much control and customization options for their display. And with an industry-leading DDC/CI library, Visual Optimizer is Microsoft Vista ready.
