Brief summaries of the people who are the driving forces behind our product innovations.

J. Michael James, CEO and President
Prior to co-founding Portrait Displays in early 1993, Mr. James was Director of Marketing for Radius, Inc. a $160 million graphics display manufacturer. He was involved in setting the strategic direction for the company's entry into the Windows market, as well as launching a new generation of computer displays-including portrait and pivot monitors-for Windows and Macintosh computers.

From 1987 to 1989, Mr. James was Marketing Manager for Wyse Technologies, a $450 million computer, terminal, and graphic display manufacturer with a leadership position in the PC market. From 1985 to 1987, Mr. James was Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Vectrix Corporation, a $10 million pioneer in PC Graphics.

Mr. James holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Art History from Florida State University. In addition, Mr. James is active in the graphics industry standards group, VESA.

Martin Fishman, COO and Vice President, Worldwide Sales
Mr. Fishman is responsible for worldwide sales for the company. Mr. Fishman brings over 25 years of executive high-tech management experience in sales, marketing, product management, technical support, operations, logistics, and finance. His diverse background includes start-ups, turnarounds, and successful multi-million dollar companies.

From 1997 to 2000, Mr. Fishman was Executive Vice President Worldwide Sales and Marketing for Castlewood Systems where he managed sales, marketing, operations, support, and strategic direction for a proprietary storage format manufacturer. During his tenure he successfully grew sales from start-up mode to over $200 million run rate in two years.

From 1982 to 1997, Mr. Fishman was employed by Merisel and its subsidiaries where he held various executive management positions including President of Computerland Corporation, Managing Director of Merisel Switzerland, and Vice President and General Manager of MacAmerica. Merisel is a leading worldwide distributor of computer hardware and software.

From 1992 to 1993 Mr. Fishman was Vice President of Sales and General Manager for E-Machines, a third-party Apple display company. He was responsible for domestic and international sales and marketing for the company and oversaw product development. He successfully devised and executed sales strategies to increase market share and profitability.

Mr. Fishman holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing from Boston University. In addition, he is a member of the American Management Association (AMA) and spoke at Panels for Apple, CMP Publications, Stanford/M.I.T. Alumni Association and MacUser magazine.

Eric T. Brumm, CFO and Vice President Engineering
Mr. Brumm has held multiple positions at Portrait Displays, including CFO, during his tenure.

From 1992 to 1996, Mr. Brumm was a Co-Founder and President of ScreenMagic, Inc., a developer and marketer of consumer software. At that company he oversaw the product development of several consumer packaged products. He was responsible for business development and OEM agreements with several companies. ScreenMagic's products were sold to Packard Bell in 1996.

From 1989 to 1992, Mr. Brumm was CFO of Roykore, Inc., a developer and marketer of business software products. He was instrumental in restoring the company to profitability. As financial officer, he assisted in a 50 percent annual growth rate for the company. He successfully participated in negotiating the sale of the company to Micrografx, Inc.

Mr. Brumm holds a Bachelor of Science in Finance from California State University at Hayward.

Scott Anderson, Vice President Product Management
Mr. Anderson has over 20 years of high-tech management experience concentrating in operations, product development, and product management.

From 1998 to 2000 Mr. Anderson was Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Meltdown Systems, a research and development company, which specialized in FireWire and USB products for large OEM accounts. He successfully launched and private-labeled the first FireWire Cardbus card for Apple's PowerBook line.

Between 1993 and 1997 Mr. Anderson held executive level positions at Focus Enhancements, a Macintosh peripheral company that specialized in graphics hardware. Mr. Anderson was responsible for managing large OEM contracts for the company's proprietary hardware. During his tenure at Focus he held executive positions in engineering, manufacturing, and business development.

Mr. Anderson was also co-founder of Lapis Technologies, Inc., which he ran from 1989 to 1993. He oversaw the day-to-day operation of the company and managed manufacturer, purchasing, and product development.

Mr. Anderson holds an MBA in Management Sciences and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science with a minor in Mathematics from California State University Hayward.
